AlgaEnergy chairs the Biostimulants Europe 2016 Congress in Almeria
Between the 30th of November and the 1st of December 2016, the Biostimulants Europe Congress took place in Almeria. AlgaEnergy participated as collaborator and institutional sponsor of an event which gathered around 150 C-level representatives from world leading companies and universities of reference in the field of biostimulants.
During the event, the speakers and participants had the chance to analyze trends and opportunities of the sector, different academic progresses and ongoing research projects, as well as discuss the needs to further develop the sector and its regulatory frame.
Carlos Rodriguez-Villa, Managing Director of AlgaEnergy, was invited by the Organizing Committee to chair the second day of the event in which 10 speakers participated.
Furthermore, AlgaEnergy also participated as speaker, as the main reference when it comes to microalgae applied to agriculture.

Following an extensive restructuring, AlgaEnergy is proud to partner with DE SANGOSSE Group through a soon to be finalized deal that will enable a concentrated focus on its agricultural markets. Previous business verticals including cosmetics, bioenergy, aquaculture and nutraceuticals will be discontinued, allowing a single-minded focus on solutions for agricultural markets, specifically agribiological inputs (biostimulants, biofertilizers and biocontrol).
