The biotechnology company showcased microalgae potential and the properties of the agricultural biostimulants that AlgaEnergy has developed, AgriAlgae®.
AlgaEnergy participated in the 3rdEdition of the Fertilizer Congress organized by the Spanish Association of Fertilizers Commercializing Companies (ACEFER), held in Madrid and under the title “Fertilizers, Energy and Biotechnology”. Within this framework, the biotechnology company showcased the numerous properties of microalgae and the innovative and effective solutions that it offers for a more sustainable agriculture.
The attendees at this third edition discovered all the benefits that microalgae are already bringing to agriculture and the advantages that the range of biostimulants AgriAlgae® offer, such as increasing crops’ yields, optimizing qualitative traits of fruits and vegetables and reinforcing stress resistance. These benefits translate into a greater profitability for the farmer. Furthermore, an additional benefit of AgriAlgae® is thatby using it the farmer is responsible for the elimination of 2 kg of CO2 from the atmosphere for every 5 liters of AgriAlgae® he or she uses.
AlgaEnergy participated in the congress with a stand that had a conspicuous protagonist. A small-scale photobioreactor to exemplify the most advanced technology AlgaEnergy for microalgae cultivation, which makes the company a world benchmark in microalgae cultivation and its valorization, did attract the attention of everyone.
