The Seminar has been held in Almeria, Spain, from 19 to 24 October 2014, and has been sponsored by the CO2ALGAEFIX Project, led by AlgaEnergy. 60 experts from 14 countries have met in the Andalusian province to exchange experiences and discuss the needs for the industrial development and implementation of microalgae.
The main aim of the EMBS2014 (with a duration of five days) is to link advancements in scientific and technological knowledge with the needs and constraints of technical jobs and professional occupations within specific social contexts. It is intended for young professionals who are already employed, or about to start their career in the area of microalgal biotechnology and its diverse applications, as well as for PhD students (post-graduates).
